Troops in Borno State have found scattered corpses in Damasak town, which was recently recaptured from Boko Haram.
Chadian and Nigerien soldiers who chased out terrorists told of how they found a mass grave with about 100 corpses, some headless and others with slit throats.
The town was recaptured from the insurgents on Monday, March 16 after a final battle.
However, Boko Haram members are said to have invaded the village on Tuesday, March 24, and abducted hundreds of women and children
