n Bangladesh 10 killed in stampede during Hindu ritual

No fewer than 10 people have been killed in Bangladeshfollowing a stampede that broke out during a Hindu ritual.

According to news agency, Reuters, the Hindu ritual is attended by thousands of devotees on the banks of a river near the Bangladesh capital of Dhaka.

Speaking with reporters, police official Mohammad Jakariasaid all the victims were aged over 50 years, and 7 were women.

About 30 people were also  injured in the incident atNarayanganj.
