Six suspected killers of a traffic warden in Aba,
Emmanuel Nwankwo, who was killed on
February 24 while on duty at the popular Brass
Junction, have been paraded by the Abia State
Police Command.
The suspects are Chisom Solomon, 17; Temple
Ikpeazu , 21; and Justice Wisdom,19; Nwabueze,

The Commissioner of Police, Joshak Habila,
said one of them, Solomon, was arrested with a
locally made pistol by a patrol team at
Umuojima Junction during a random stop and
search operation.
He also said, during interrogation, the suspect
confessed that he was an armed robber and a
member of Vikings secret cult.
According to him, the suspect revealed that one
“Teco Daco,” who is still wanted, was
responsible for the killing of the traffic police
officer.
The suspect led detectives to arrest other
members of the gang who would be arraigned
as soon as investigations were concluded.
But one of the suspects, Wisdom, denied any
involvement in the alleged killing, explaining that
he was a student of Ngwa High School and was
returning to his house one evening when he was
arrested by the police.
Similarly, another suspect, Orji, said he was not
a robber but was in his house when police
returned with his cousin and arrested him,
alleging that he was a cultist and member of a
robbery gang.
