Fast and Furious star, Vin Diesel recently
eulogised his colleague and friend, Paul Walker
at the recent L.A. screening of Fast and Furious
7.
Opening up Paul Walker's death, Diesel got
visibly emotional during his speech to introduce
the latest entry in the Universal franchise, as he
recounts the memories of his late co-star.
"This was a labor of love — it was in some ways
the hardest movie I ever had to do because the
relationships that you see on film are so real,"
said Diesel, who was unable to attend the film's
premiere earlier this month at South by Southwest
because his girlfriend was about to give birth.
"When the tragedy happened, I lost my best friend.
I lost my brother." he said.
While addressing the viewers at the screening,
Diesel's emotion got the better part of him as
he choked up and had to cut a sentence short.
"What can I say, guys? Thanks for being my
family" he said as he regains his composure.
